Sorry guys, I have been and will continue to be MIA for a while.

My computer decided to have a meltdown on me. I had managed to back up a few things but there is still so much on it, and I just dont have the funds at the moment to get it fixed.

Life has also thrown me a couple of curve balls lately, and im not sure im coping with it all very well, but im trying!!

So anyway the long and short of it is, I have no idea how long it will be before I am back with any new freebies for you. I hope in the meantime you all still enjoy what is already up here.

So finally we are getting a bit of summer weather here in the UK, after so much rain the last few weeks its lovely to get out in the garden and soak up some much needed vitamin D.

New Kit - Pink Love

Happy New year!!

I trust everyone had a happy and safe new year and is now fully back into the swing of everyday life. My Christmas and New Year were the best ever, the kids & I had a wonderful time.

The only thing to mar the happiness, is my Father is ill. It is looking very much like he has lung cancer - we will know for sure this week after he has his CT scan - but to be honest, he has been ill for so long and is deteriorating so quickly I think its pretty much a foregone conclusion. I have been spending a lot of time looking after him, taking him dinners and cleaning for him, and have also started to take care of his finances, as his illness is already affecting his brain. He finds it difficult to find the right words when speaking and its so frustrating for both us.

My favourite tagging group had a bit of a hiccup over the holidays and disappeared, I was distraught!! but luckily the wonderful staff and members got back together at a new home, and with a new name. So if your looking for a great place to do some tagging and make some lovely friends then why not pop over to Creative Chicks and join us in all the fun.

Onto the reason for posting today. I have a new kit for you - Pink Love has 4 frames, 9 papers and 33 elements, all with a love/valentine theme in mind.

WOW! its been a while hasn't it? How quickly 6 months passes. Life has been kind to me lately and I have just been enjoying it, so have not been doing much creating other than some tagging in the various groups I belong to.

Looking forward to Christmas so much this year. Its going to be just me and the kids Christmas morning, so no stress, no fuss, just pure joy, thank you Lord.
My father is coming for Christmas dinner, which will be so lovely. I have asked him for the last few years but he has always declined, so this year is going to be fantastic.

Life has had more downs than ups recently and I really felt the need for a holiday, but having little to no money and being limited to only being able to go away during school holidays, when the prices are, or course, much much higher, I really believed that I would be spending yet another year in the tent in nan's back garden he he. However, lady luck has smiled on me for once and the kids and I are off on our hols in just under 11 weeks.

Its nothing grand, just a week in a caravan on a working dairy farm in Derbyshire, but its gonna be the first real holiday the kids and I have had. We go away every year, but always with their father and to be perfectly honest its no holiday for anyone but him, but this year its just me and the boys and its going to be so great.

I am so excited, so much so I had to create a new freebie with a summer holiday theme LOL - I hope you all like it and have fun playing with it.

Spring is finally here

Finally Spring has arrived, there are pretty crocus and snowdrops popping up everywhere I look, the trees are starting to sprout new leaves and the grass is no longer to sodden to walk on, and the best thing of all is the kids can finally go back outside to play after school. They have been going stir crazy stuck in the house, and I have been going nuts, trying to find things for them to do, but now they can whizz about on their bikes again and play football, although the constant banging of the ball up against the side of the house is driving me nearly as nuts LOL.

In honour of this lovely season I have created a new Spring Kit.
Consists of 9 papers and 20 elements.

Weekend Waffling

So its nearly the end of the weekend again. Its been a good weekend for me, I got my new car, well not really new, just newer than the one I had lol. I also got rid of my old car and got paid for it in the process, which was very handy as it now means I will be able to afford the road tax on the new one at the end of the month.

Random ramblings and freebies

Thankfully my worrying was all for nothing, the school was open this morning and the kidlets are now safely ensconced in their classrooms, leaving me some peace and quiet time to sort out my files, and Oh boy did they ever need sorting out.

I found stuff in there that I dont even remember making LOL, but have now cleaned and tidied all my files and can now see where everything is. I found some half finished scrap kits, some christmas word art that I forgot to post - Opps!! bit late now LOL, never mind they will do for next christmas ha ha. Snow, School, and a Freebie

So like most of the UK we too have had lots of snow this last week, and as is usual for UK it brought everything to a standstill. I just dont understand it, we get snow pretty much every winter, and yet every year it still brings the country to its knees, its just plain ridiculous.

The main worry is the schools... at the first sign of a snowflake they close all the schools. My boys have had two snow days so far, and of course they loved it, having snowball fights and making snowmen, but my concern is the education they are missing out on. You have to wonder what happens if we get months of snow?? Surely they cant keep the schools closed, well I hope not anyway.

Anyway, now ive had my moan onto the freebie I have for you. I was inspired after buying Irene Alexeeva's new kit, that I blogged about in my previous post, and decided I wanted to do something with frogs in it, but you cant have frogs without fairies now can you??

I bought my first ever scrapkit yesterday - "Kiss him He's Green" by Irene Alexeeva - and I have been having such fun playing with it.

Freebies - Winter Wonderland & Xmas Present Tags

Here is a simple Wintery/Christmassy kit for you to play with.

and another little freebie for you all.

I was messing around with my Christmas Pastels Kit making some tags for my christmas presents and I thought they came out so nice I would see if anyone else would like them.

I printed mine out on ordinary white A4 paper, and plan on gluing them on my presents but you could also print them on some nice thin card, punch out the holes and add a little gold or silver string.

There are three each of each design, Poinsettia, snowman, glitter star and bauble - 12 tags in total.

I have recently started to learn how to digitally scrap properly (well a lot better than I have been anyway hehe!) and have decided to retire my older kits as they are, quite frankly, a load of crap!! LOL

I will continue to offer my kits to taggers for free and may even one day venture into the realms of making full size kits - but dont hold your breath waiting ;)
